Dependency on SysMan
Sysgem Access Gateway provides a network gateway service for SysMan Utilities (including SysMan Remote Control) and therefore one of the following SysMan products is required:
- SysMan Utilities Free Edition
- SysMan Remote Control
- SysMan Utilities Standard Edition
- SysMan Utilities Professional Edition
Remote Connection to Sysgem Access Gateway
The following component is included in the Access Gateway kit for making a remote connection from a Windows workstation or server:

Access Gateway version 1.1.0
Access Gateway: Fix for a reliability issue that could, in rare circumstances, cause the Access Gateway Server to crash when the Session Log was queried from SysMan Utilities.
One-Click Connector: Add per-package option to generate a random password for each session, and also optionally allow the user to specify their own custom password. This option is exposed in the One-Click Connector wizard within SysMan 3.1.0. Also add support for clickable hotspot links in the banner bitmap.
Remote Control Client and One-Click Viewer: Add support for a comma- or semicolon-separated list of Access Gateway addresses, in the same way that they can be specified in the Remote Connector or One-Click Connector. This should allow easier configuration where different addresses need to be used when operating inside or outside a network boundary.

Remote Connector: Improve occasional reliability issues with starting the RC Engine, resulting in a warning message and a potential lack of function.
One-Click Viewer: New component added, for simpler connection to sessions where users do not need the full client functionality included in SysMan. A utility to create One-Click Viewer packages is included in the Access Gateway server installation, and is also available within SysMan 3.0.7.

Access Gateway: Provide a clearer indication of the problem when attempting to connect to a persistent session that is not currently available.
Remote Connector: When a single monitor has been selected for display in the Remote Control Client, try and make sure new windows opened on the remote desktop appear on that monitor instead of an invisible one.
Remote Control Client: Improve appearance of full-screen mode.

Remote Connector: Fix issues with installation not always upgrading previous versions of Remote Connector properly. Ensure installed Remote Connector will not mistakenly attempt to use a running One-Click Connector's configuration files for the RC Engine. Also correct issues (introduced in the previous release) with running the SysMan RC Server as a service.
Remote Control Client: Change behavior of shrink-to-fit mode when the full remote desktop is visible to only shrink as far as required to fit the largest remote monitor, with a preference setting to revert to the old behavior if desired.

Remote Connector: Fix intermittent issues with starting the RC Engine when a viewer connects causing the Remote Connector window to hang; also fix the RC Engine Options menu item which sometimes failed to open the relevant dialog box. Change 'Copy Access Code' menu item text to 'Copy Access Code to Clipboard' as a result of user feedback. Change default for new sessions to allow multiple viewers; this can still be changed in the Options dialog box.
One-Click Connector: Add ability to force sessions created by a One-Click Connector package to allow or disallow multiple viewers, as required, instead of following the default setting on the machine where the package runs.

Access Gateway version 1.0.3
Remote Connector: Add 'Manage Access Gateways' option to drop-down selection list (shortcut to the relevant tab of the Options dialog). Add support for providing multiple addresses for the same Access Gateway in a registration, to improve experience when computers (or One-Click Connector packages) are used from both inside and outside a network.
One-Click Connector: Add a warning message if UIPI will interfere with protected windows (such as Control Panel applets running as Administrator); also add ability to install and use support files to avoid this issue. Add ability to signal to Access Gateway Client that a session is running from a One-Click Connector and does not support Windows authentication.
Remote Control Client: Don't offer unsupported authentication types when connecting to an Access Gateway session. Add warning notification to status bar when a session is about to be timed-out (to support the new Express Demo option from the Access Gateway Evaluation Center).

Remote Connector: Fix for occasional 'frozen' remote sessions if remote user attempts to minimize the Remote Connector window. Improve handling of UIPI-protected windows (such as Control Panel applets running as Administrator). Fix the Remote Connector's notification icon popup menu not disappearing if user clicks outside it to dismiss. Improve persistent sessions' handling of registration details, so that a registration can be updated without restarting all persistent sessions.
